Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Category to Accept Applications Starting January 2, 2014

ImageGood news to many skilled workers whose professions are not included in the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) list of eligible occupations!!! The Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Category which took effect on December 2, 2013 is giving priority to applicants with experience in one of TWO HUNDRED OCCUPATIONS!

A sample of the listed occupations are:

  • Financial Analysts
  • Secretaries
  • Engineers
  • Chemists
  • Architects
  • Land Surveyors
  • Mathematicians

  • Physicians
  • Dentists
  • Dieticians
  • Physiotherapists
  • Pharmacists
  • Optometrists
  • Veterinarians
  • Nurses
  • Dental Hygienists

  • Midwives
  • Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Teachers and instructors
  • Social workers
